Nicole Boulanger, Dietitian

New to Windsor from Barrie, ON, I have been at BANA since January 2014.

I completed my degree in BSc (Human Ecology) Honours Foods and Nutrition at Brescia University College (University of Western Ontario) and my internship at the Northern Ontario Dietetic Internship Program in Barrie.

I live in Windsor with my husband and enjoy travelling and exploring new places and activities. I have grown personally and professionally from working at BANA and look forward to continuing to learn from my colleagues and clients.

Patrick Kelly, Special Projects Coordinator

Originally from Chatham I have lived in Windsor since 1996. As a graduate of St. Clair College with an Advanced Diploma in Advertising/Business I’ve spent the past 19 years working with a variety of organizations including the MediaDuo Advertising Agency, Dimanti Stone Works, the John McGivney Children’s Centre, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Lakeview Montessori School, the Children’s Achievement Centre and KPMG.

Since 2007 I have been the Special Projects Coordinator for the Bulimia Anorexia Nervosa Association where my responsibilities include public relations, media, fundraising, administration and IT services. In addition to my role at BANA, since 2011, I have also been an instructor in St. Clair College’s Advertising program.

As a representative of BANA, I actively participate in several community committees; as Co-Chair of the Service Alliance for Equality (SAFE), as Marketing Chair for Southwestern Ontario in motion and as a committee member for Children’s Fest.

In my personal life along with my wife Lorretta and 2 kids, Zander and Carly I volunteer time with the Emerald Isle Dance Society, The Windsor Feis Association and the Windsor Optimist Youth Band.

Jaclyn Brown, Clinician

I have been working with BANA since Jan 2014 – My journey began with me filling a maternity-leave contract as a clinical therapist for BANA. Since then, I have been offered and have accepted a contract extension, and subsequently a full-time position as a “Clinician” here at BANA.

I am a Registered Social Worker with an Undergraduate and a Masters degree in Psychology, as well as a Masters degree in Social Work. I enjoy working with the public and I value what clients can (and have) taught me about strength, struggle and commitment.

I also value a good sense of humor and I enjoy making others laugh.

Dana Dupuis, Clinical Intake Worker

I am a native of Tecumseh, Ontario and a graduate of the University of Windsor with an Undergraduate and Master’s degree in Social Work. I first came to BANA in 2010 as a student intern and have experience working at both Legal Assistance of Windsor and the Windsor/Essex AIDS committee before returning to BANA in 2012 to fill a maternity leave.   In 2014, I accepted a full time position at BANA as the Clinical Intake Specialist.

I have a French bulldog named Ruthie and enjoy creative endeavours like art classes.

Leta Marchand, Clinical Manager

I currently reside in Comber Ontario with my husband, 2 children and our 2 Labs Daisy and Cookie. I am a graduate of the University of Windsor with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work.

I began my work with BANA in 2004 as a student and became a full time employee in 2006. I have previous experience working at a crisis centre, as well as training and experience group and individual therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

I enjoy spending time with my family, baking, sewing and learning to crochet.

Shauna Sciacca, Health Educator

I grew up in Windsor, Ontario and attended Holy Names high school as well as the University of Windsor and St. Clair College. I completed the five year Concurrent B.A/B.Ed/ECE program in 2013.

I worked as an ECE for the WECDSB during the 2013-2014 school year and in the summer of 2014 I accepted the position of Health Promotion Educator with BANA. It has been an exciting and rewarding learning experience for me!

In my time outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and living a balanced, active lifestyle.

Chandi Weeratunga, Accounting/Finance

I am a graduate from St. Clair College in Business Administration-Accounting and the University of Windsor with a degree in Business Management. I am certified in CGA (Certified General Accountant) and CPA (Certified Professional Accountant).

I joined BANA in 2007 and I’m currently working as an accountant. In addition to the accounting work, I am responsible for the government reporting for BANA.

I am a mother of two boys, 17 and 12, with a busy schedule. Whenever I find a time I enjoy watching TV shows, and talking to my parents who live overseas.

Luciana Rosu-Sieza, Interim Executive Director

I am a mother, a wife, a leader, an educator and a motivator with a GREAT passion for life. I was born in Romania and lived in Montreal, QC for some of my childhood years. I have spent the majority of my life in Windsor- a community that is diverse and has so much to offer. I graduated from the University of Windsor in Psychology with a minor in French.

I started at BANA over 11 years ago as the Health Promotion Manager (prevention), which is an area that I am extremely passionate about. In 2012, I was appointed as the Interim Executive Director at BANA. It is a privilege to be in this position and to work with the amazing board, staff, funders and community partners who are all so dedicated to this important work. I sit on a number of committees, which allows me to engage and learn more about our community.

I am married to Tony and have 2 children Gabriela and Antonio who are my world. I love to travel and see the world from my own lens. I enjoy going for walks and spending time with family and friends. I value the community I live in and try to make a difference whenever and whenever I can.
