The Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) and BANA would appreciate your assistance in promoting the 22nd Annual Children’s Fest.
This year’s 22nd Annual Children’s Fest promises a weekend filled with spectacular live entertainment and an array of exciting hands on activities that are sure to please children 12 and under. There’s something for everyone in our expanded lineup of family friendly activities from sports and games, to experimenting with science and dabbling in the arts.
Since its inception in 1995 as a project of the Rotary Club of Windsor (1918), more than 66 thousand visitors have attended our annual Children’s Fest, coming from all over the region to enjoy the weekend activities and family fun. For the fourth year the Bulimia Anorexia Nervosa Association (BANA) will be co-hosting the event.
As part of the event and in partnership with the Windsor Essex Catholic District School Board, the Greater Essex County District School Board and the Conseil scolaire catholique Providence have distributed 2 versions of our activity guide for 2016. 20,000 copies (English) and 10,000 copies (French) of our publication will be distributed to local youth (free of charge) in their back-to-school packages in September 2016. This original activity book will embody the spirit of both our Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) and the Bulimia Anorexia Nervosa Association’s mission to foster a healthier community; partnering not only on Children’s Fest but in this exciting and fun feature promoting positive values, creativity and self-esteem in local youth.
