HAVE YOU SEEN ME?
BANA Health Promotion Staff are hosting a series of workshops based on a worldwide movement called
The Dressing Room Project (DRP).
The DRP was originally created by the Emerging Women Project in Vermont and has since spread to different countries. As a REGISTERED DRP Action Team, BANA has developed a series of interactive workshops to improve and increase girls’ self-esteem, positive body image, assertiveness skills, and media literacy. This will aim to target young girls and address these concerns as a preventative measure against eating disorders.
In the DRP, girls get the chance to decorate 3×5 inch cards with encouraging messages for women that will be made into decals and distributed to, and posted in, dressing rooms around their local community.
AS PART OF OUR PROMOTION OF THIS INITIATIVE WE CURRENTLY HAVE 8 BILLBOARDS ACROSS THE WINDSOR REGION. WE’RE OFFERING A FREE T-SHIRT TO THE FIRST PERSON TO IDENTIFY AND SEND ALL 8 LOCATIONS (closest intersection) TO firstname.lastname@example.org. (subject line: DRPbillboards)
As an added bonus… if you email us a photo of yourself in front of one of our boards we’ll enter you into a draw for a second t-shirt.

BOTH CONTESTS END MARCH 31, 2015
