It’s September and that means BANA is pleased to host another group of BSW Student Interns from the University of Windsor school of Social Work.
Please join us in welcoming Aleksandra Stevkovska, Chad Pierozynski and Elizabeth Di Paolo to the team. They will be with us through April of 2015.
We’ve asked each one of them to share a little bit about themselves.
My name is Aleksandra Stevkovska and I am a fourth year Social Work and Women’s Studies student at the University of Windsor, and a social work intern at BANA.
I have been interested in eating disorders from an early age due to the fact that I witnessed problematic eating and constantly heard the word diet growing up.
I am extremely excited to be placed at BANA and have the opportunity to learn from and work with the multidisciplinary team at the agency.
My name is Chad Pierozynski, I am a fourth year Bachelors of Social Work intern from the University of Windsor. I will be placed at BANA from September 8, 2014 to April 29, 2015. I am looking forward to being part of the multidisciplinary team and learning relevant information.
Throughout my internship I am hoping to gain a better understanding of eating disorders and the vase treatments used. I am so also excited about interacting in groups, performing assessments and attending events.
Hello everyone! My name is Elizabeth Di Paolo and I am one of the new Social Work interns here at BANA. I will be interning here until April and I am so excited for this journey to begin. In the last two years I have gained a particular interest around eating disorders and body dysmorphia.
I am a body positive activist and I am excited to share my passion with you all! I am very blessed and honored to work alongside the staff and clients here and cannot wait to put my skills into action. Cheers to a new adventure!
